Often times when we think of the mind we conjure up images of such things as the fear of losing our mind, getting Alzheimer’s, short-circuited from stress, mentally drained, emotionally overwhelmed, thoughts of us being hard-wired –“I am who I am and nothin’s gonna change that!; the movie A Beautiful Mind, or things as innocuous as brain games, mind illusions, tricks our mind plays on us, just to name a few.  Although these are all true to some extent of how all our brains can function, it is only a tiny part of the story.
