BODY

When we think of the body most of us gravitate (not gravity) towards a certain body image and looking at only the outside cover of ourselves.  Nutrition and daily activity play integral roles as we all know, but we also know in our minds these elements are not the only chapters in the book of our Body.

Our bodies protect us, hold us together with our bones and tissue, creates movement, senses our environment (kinesthesis & proprioception), the use of touch, hearing, smell, sight, taste; the need for rest/sleep, relaxation and excitement, etc.  Just as our mind can be overstressed so too can our body’s be overtaxed by not shutting down or under-stressed by never moving and wondering why we hurt so much with pain or are stiff when we get up from a chair or out of breath from climbing one flight of stairs.  As they say, your body is your temple…but are you treating it as such or are you merely using your body as a tool to just get by from day to day in anguish and agony until you drop from an illness, infection, disease or simple exhaustion.  It doesn’t have to be this way!  And yes, there is a better way to build your body to be the “temple” you want it to be where it literally can breathe life into both your Mind and your Soul to the point of OPTIMAL Living!
